Chronic Pain
Our research focuses on innovative interventions to improve quality of life for those with long-term pain, with an emphasis on psychological and behavioural approaches. We aim to enhance pain management for patients and clinicians, with our research continuously evolving.
Women’s Health
We focus on key areas such as sexual wellbeing, UTI management and reproductive health through patient centred interventions. Our research addresses gender research gaps, especially in female pain experiences and under researched conditions such as vaginismus and chronic UTI, aiming to reduce disparities and improve access to tailored care.
Urinary Health
This stream of our research looks at innovative patient-centred, psychologically-informed approaches for managing Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs), addressing the broader implications for women’s health and quality of life.
Behaviour Change
We develop evidence-based behaviour change interventions to support health-related decision-making and sustained positive health outcomes. We use behavioural science frameworks and behaviour change models to create targeted research programmes and personalised interventions.
